About the program

What this looks like on the ground

Our volunteers spend the weeks before Thanksgiving sourcing turkeys, sides, and pantry staples — then sorting, packing, and hand-delivering meals to families nominated by local churches, schools, and community groups.

A $200 sponsorship covers one complete Thanksgiving meal. Volunteer slots open in early November for sorting, packing, and delivery days across the Houston region.

How it works

A simple, human process

1

Nominate or sponsor

Community partners nominate families; sponsors fund meals at $200 each.

2

Source & pack

Volunteers gather turkeys, sides, and pantry staples and box them by family size.

3

Hand-deliver

Delivery teams bring meals directly to families the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Receiving a complete Thanksgiving meal meant our family could focus on being together instead of worrying about the table.
